How To Shop Black Friday Offers Like A Pro
Who can believe that Black Friday is just around the corner? It seems as if it was only mere months ago that we were enjoying the deliveries of last year’s biggest shopping day, and now we’re gearing up for it again.
We’re pulling out all of the stops this Black Friday at Millies, but to relieve the stress even more - we’ve also put together our top tips for shopping Black Friday like a pro.
Make Your List
Here’s where we get organised. Go back to basics and pull out your notebook and pen and brain dump everything, then block into two categories: your must-haves and nice to haves. Then, finally, if you’re hoping to get your Christmas shopping done and dusted - write out your list of who you’ll be buying for this year and one or two ideas for each person. Ideally, when you spot that your sister’s favourite perfume is 20%, you can tick it off your list and you’re one present down!
Research, Research, Research
It might sound like overkill, but the best way not to overspend on Black Friday is to prep and research. Decide on what kind of purchases you’re going to make. Treating yourself to a gorgeous gift? Getting your Christmas shopping done? Have you got your eye on one item in particular? Make your decisions and research each one of them - for example, if you’re buying skincare for your auntie, start asking questions now and you’ll know exactly the kind of skincare set she’d love to see under the tree this year.
Stock Up On Must-Haves
Always use the same serum? Can’t live without your signature scent? Take stock of what products you use every day. Keep an eye out for them when the Black Friday emails start landing in your inbox. This way, at least you won’t suddenly run out of your favourite cleanser and be left without.
But of course, don’t forget to enjoy! There can be additional stress around Black Friday - but at the end of the day shopping is to be enjoyed.
