Its wider ceramic plates are designed to make straightening easier and reach 30% closer to the roots, while its curl locking guide gently heats up to 100°C to help create more defined curls. The continuous flow of dry steam is designed to provide visibly smoother hair.

The three steam-optimising combs are designed for different hair types: a fine-tooth comb for straight to wavy hair, an intermediate comb for curly hair, and a wide-tooth comb for very curly to kinky hair.
Heat settings
It is recommended to select the temperature according to your hair texture. SteamPod 4.0 has three heat settings from 180°C to 210°C.
- 180°C: Thin, sensitive hair, including coloured or bleached hair.
- 200–210°C: Thick, natural hair only.
How to use
Select the appropriate steam-optimising comb for your hair type and choose the preferred temperature setting. Use the tool to straighten, wave or curl the hair. For cleaning, ensure the SteamPod is switched off and the heating plates have cooled. The steam holes can be cleaned using a slightly humidified piece of paper, while the comb can be cleaned in soapy water. The comb should be dry before being fitted back into the straightener.

First, choose the correct comb according to your hair type :
- Fine tooth comb: for straight to wavy hair
- Intermediate comb: for curly hair
- Wide-tooth comb: for very curly to kinky
Please note some looks (S Waves, crimped hair styles...) require to remove the comb.
Fill up the built-in water tank with demineralized water. Using regular tap water would lead to product malfunction.
Please note SteamPod still works when water tank is empty but for optimal results, water tank needs to be filled before use.
Then, switch on the tool and set the appropriate temperature according to your hair texture:
- 180°C for thin, sensitive hair (coloured or bleached) ;
- 200-210°C for thick, natural hair only.
For extra safety, place the thermo-protective shells on the curl locking guide before straightening.
Make sure arrows are facing down when styling the hair.
