Skin Needling and How does it work?
Microneedling is an ever increasingly popular and safe renewal technique which restores the youthful, healthy appearance of your skin. It is one of the very few skin treatments suitable for treating all skins, even around the eyes, mouth and on the neck area. Skin needling has a few different names and today I’m going to talk to you about the different types available. Microneedling Vs Mesoneedling or Therapy. So what is it? It involves the use of a microneedling devise called the Dermapen to create controlled skin injury. Don’t panic, let me explain. The device has tiny needles which move up and down very rapidly piercing the skin. The tiny wounds which create tiny speckles of blood create new collagen. Who new by us creating a slight trauma to our own skin just a little, it would respond to healthier, tighter plumper skin. During microneedling we adjust the setting of the pen up to a 1.5mm depth of needle. Micronedling is considered to be one of the safest results driven treatments procedures in the salon. What’s involved in the treatment? Well the pen is the hero in this treatment, we always combine our microneedling with topical anti-ageing serums or anti blemish serums ensuring we are treating the clients main concern.
Is it painful? Lets be honest is anything that actually gives results not?? The good news is we administer a topical anesthetic before each treatment to reduce any discomfort. It normally takes up to 20-30mins for the anaestheic to work and then we get going. After the needing is completed your skin will feel hot, sometimes swollen, but because we have the best LED system in the salon this will all be reduced by placing you under for 20mins. Most people can return to work the next day. We always recommend a course of microneedling for optimum results and of intervals 0f 3-4 weeks.

Mesoneeding is an effective Pain free treatment with no down time. We use a shorter needle depth of 0.5mm on the Dermapen to undertake skin rejuvenation. It enables active ingredients penetrate the skin and is absorbed to the deeper layers achieving fantastic results. This treatment does not require a topical anesthetic. Its plumps the skin, improves appearance od open pores, fine line and wrinkles, not only does your skin feel so hydrated but leaves your skin looking and feeling radiant. So in simple terms this treatment create deeper channels for ingredients to travels to to get to work, no pain, no blood and very effective.
