Summer Hair - Dare to Care

It is the Summer we’ve all been waiting for, and the sunshine we all need, time is precious so make the most of it. Hopefully, you will have already secured a much-coveted spot with your favourite stylist, and lovingly restored your hair to its fabulous former glory. Or maybe lockdown was just the rest your hair needed, and, now it is longer and more luscious than ever before. 

Either way, Summer is the perfect time to embrace sun kissed highlights, warm tones, natural texture, and fabulous, beachy style. There is nothing as satisfying as popping product in your hair and walking out the door, knowing just how effortlessly gorgeous it will be as it dries in the natural environment. My own hair used to be tight ringlets, but has fallen to between a wave and a curl, and if I don’t get the product balance just right I can end up with a halo of frizz, which is not the desired look. I find applying Olaplex No.6 to my hair while it is saturated and a little more when it has dried slightly, topped with a drop of Alfaparf's Semi di Lino Curl Multi Benefit Oil stops frizz in its tracks, gives my curl extra bounce, and creates the most natural, moveable finish with beautiful shine. This is a technique I demonstrate in our IGTV’s and works well with all types of curl or wave. Adjust the product quantity if you think you have finer or thicker hair.
