Why masks are important: Masks target skin problems to restore a healthier appearance. They have many functions depending on your needs.

• Kaolin is a natural clay mineral that purifies the skin, by drawing out and absorbing excess oil and congestion. Refines the texture of the skin without causing dryness.
• Hyaluronic acid has the ability to retain water, it holds up to 1000 times its own weight in water. It is naturally found in the body therefore easily accepted into the skin and has a low molecular weight which easily penetrates the skin. It provides intense hydration, plumps and smoothes the skin and reduces lines caused by dehydration.
• Vitamin C is an antioxidant which protects cells from environmental damage, boosts the production of collagen, speeds up skin healing and strengthens skin capillary network. Resulting in a healthier, brighter, more radiant skin.
• Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that breaks down and removes dead skin cells. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble therefore has the ability to penetrate into the pores to unclog and reduce sebum production. It has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect.

Why you need a mask: Masks provide your skin with an active treatment which is targeted to your specific concerns, resulting in improved skin conditions and over-all appearance. You can alternate the use of two or more masks to address different concerns.

Who needs a mask: Depending on your skin condition you may require more regular use of a mask to maintain a healthy skin and achieve the optimum results. However all skin types will benefit from the use of a mask at least once a week.
