Benefits
We are all guilty of putting our hair (literally) through the heat with styling tools and chemical treatments. That’s why it’s important to incorporate strengthening products containing cell-boosting properties into our hair care routine, as they will help to promote hair regeneration and prevent breakage. Packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and argan oil, our Moroccan Oil range is overflowing with incredible benefits your hair craves.
Moroccan Oil’s high Vitamin E content means it can stimulate capillary circulation, repairing weak and damaged hair whilst supporting hair growth. A healthy scalp is central to hair growth and protection, especially for those who are prone to inflammation and irritation. Vitamin E is pertinent to scalp health as it reduces oxidative stress, neutralising oil production and pH levels. This locks in your hair’s natural moisture, helping it bounce straight back to life. Its nourishing nutrient-dense composition restores shine to dull, lifeless hair. Keep reading on to find out how adding it to your hair regime will hydrate and repair your tresses, whilst adding glam-worthy shine.
Finding your Perfectly Tailored Haircare Regime with Moroccan Oil
Whether you have curly, dry, coloured, or frizzy hair, we have a Moroccan Oil product especially for you.
Dry and Damaged Hair
For medium to thick, dry, and damaged hair, we highly recommend Moroccan Oil’s Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. Packed with antioxidant-rich argan oil, moisture-attracting algae, fatty acids, and keratin proteins, its moisturising composition helps restore your hair’s elasticity, making it much more manageable. The Hydrating shampoo’s antioxidant-rich complex is also suitable for those suffering from seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, itchiness, helping to relieve scalp inflammation whilst bringing dull, lifeless hair back to life.
Coloured Hair
If you are looking for a colour-safe, phosphate and paraben-free purple shampoo that will instantly illuminate your hair, then the Moroccan Oil Blonde Perfecting Shampoo is for you. The professional-strength toner will help combat any brassiness, ensuring your blonde or silver locks stay intact for as long as possible. Using the product regularly will help promote colour absorption on a high scale, improve elasticity, and give your hair that TV-ready shine.
Treatment Oil
Formulated to nourish every strand on a cellular level, the ultra-light Treatment Oil can be applied on either wet or dry hair for a smooth and silky finish. To condition split ends and tame frizz, run 2-4 pumps (depending on the hair’s thickness) through damp or dry hair, starting from the middle working through the ends. Avoid applying the treatment oil to the roots as this can make your hair look greasy. However, if you suffer from frizz around your scalp, dab a little oil onto a clean mascara wand and use this to brush the flyaways down. For the best results, use this treatment oil once or twice a week.

Yes, silicones have powerful hydrating properties which protect the hair from damage caused by heat styling whilst helping to retain moisture. They are one of the most effective compounds for combating frizz and improving manageability, contributing to Moroccan Oil’s professional-strength formula.
We do not recommend using Moroccan Oil hair products on your face or body as they have been carefully formulated to treat hair. Here at Millie’s, we do, however, stock a Moroccan Oil range created especially for use on the skin. Have a browse through our collection to check it out.
To retain moisture, the scalp’s natural oils should coat and protect the hair all the way through. However, curly hair strands block oil from travelling past the scalp, making it more prone to frizzing, tangling and breakage than any other hair type. Moroccan Oil’s moisture-balancing formula fights this, promoting a healthier look and feel by increasing moisture and manageability.
We can confirm that our Moroccan Oil products do not contain any alcohol or harmful chemicals. Alcohol often has a heavy drying effect, leaving the hair feeling and looking brittle and frizzy. This means that its inclusion could counteract the range’s hydrating qualities.
The protein keratin is a significant compound for hair strengthening and growth. As a result of its antioxidant-rich properties, argan oil can fuel hair growth as it catalyses keratin production. The fatty acids found within argan oil also help keep your hair nourished, keeping it protected against any damage caused by free radicals. This will help to reduce split ends and breakage, resulting in a thicker and fuller set of hair.
