Steampod is a hair styling tool created by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris. As the go-to styler with its patented steam technology, the innovative product has dominated the hair straightener and styling tool market. The hair styler can create salon worthy looks in the comfort of your own home, from straight to wavy hair. Steampod 3.0 uses a combination of heat and steam to gently style hair without drying the core. By doing so, hair is protected in humid weather and won't take on any more water so it will keep its straightened state and style for longer. Furthermore, using a continuous flow of high-pressure steam to target each strand without flattening the fibres, the hair styling tool features anodized ceramic plates to create an ultra-smooth finish with mirror-like shine.

Regular hair straighteners tend to produce steam when the water evaporates from the hair, meaning any moisture in your hair has gone with this process. This can be a cause of concern due to the fact that hair is made of water and acts like a sponge to retain it. If there is a lack of moisture in your hair, your hair will want to regain and retain as much as possible, which will result in weak bonds being broken and hair returning to its natural state. There have been reports that Steampod has done 78% less damage than regular hair straighteners according to findings by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris. Furthermore, they also reported that colour fading was reduced when using a Steampod in comparison to other styling tools.

Fill the built-in water tank with filtered water and adjust heat to preferred setting. Use the hair straightener in the direction of the arrows. Use on dry hair. For best results, use the stylist recommended Steampod care routine and use at 180º for fine or fragile hair, 200º for medium hair and 210º for thick or coarse hair.
